On November 14, 2007, in Franklin, Arkansas, Wylee got out of his backyard, after his owner let him outside. He was out in the street, sinffing and wandering, when a car sped closer to him. The person saw him, and on purpose, for no reason at all, they hit him with their car! Wylee was fine, with just a broken leg, he got back up. The person saw, and backed up over him once again, just to kill him for no reason. He was lying down, so the person drove off, thinking Wylee was dead.

A woman that had witnessed it all from her front porch rescued him. She rushed him to Best Friends Society and he immedietly got his front right leg amputated. He stayed at Best Friends Society and they took such great care of him! They're the ones we owe credit for amputating his leg, getting him groomed, fed, watered, checked, and cleaned, and for saving his life!

On April 22, 2008 we bought Wylee at a local pet store. At the time, we were looking for a dog, but only had 2 guinea pigs named Abby and Midnight. We were looking to sell Midnight, because she was bullying Abby and had a small biting problem around other guinea pigs. We pulled up to the pet store and there were hundreds of people outside, crowded around cages and kennels. We looked at the dogs for about 35 or 40 minutes and played with a few of them.

Two ladies that worked for the organization that had rescued these dogs told us there were more dogs and cats in the back of the petstore. We wanted to check it out, so we went to the very back lefthand side of the store, where the dogs were (because the mom of our family is allergic to cats). We saw about 5 fenced cages (each with a dog in them), and special needs dogs arund them, in seperate fenced areas. Wylee was the first dog in the row.

As we walked by, we stopped by Wylee because we just saw that little special thing in him that wanted to make us look. The sign read:

Wylee

Plott Hound, Male, Date Of Birth: 11/14/07

Wylee came to us with a severly injured leg. We had to remove it. Wylee is a total play bug and gets along with other dogs. TOTALLY KENNEL TRAINED! HOUSETRAINED!!!

We decided to buy him. Ever since, he's been our little angel (with some acceptions). Have fun and remember to tell friends about the site!
